Saturday 26 May Member of the Society met to walk the famous Howth Cliff Walk. We start early in the morning at 10:30 at Howth Dart station. Walking past steep cliff, up and down over hills and along a winding forest path back towards our destination. Despite the sometimes steep sections, the walk was well suitable for the less experienced among us. Our tempo was leisurely, well adapted to the terrain. Quite comfortable.

The weather was on our side with gorgeous sunshine the whole day. No a drop of rain in sight.

The route was very varied. We everything from flat terrain to steep cliffs. After a little detour we came to see the breath-taking Rhododendron gardens at full bloom near Howth castle. Our entire journey took us 4 hours and home we took cameras filled with landscape pictures. The afternoon was very much enjoyed by everyone in our walking group.
