With the best imagineable weather Saturday afternoon (27c), we left Shankill Dart Station and headed out of Shankill, through Old Rathmichael, Rathmichael Wood to first our destination Ballycorus Lead Mines. After a short break we headed on a short distance over to Carrickgollogan hill with impressive views all around. From here we returned back down and headed for a well deserved pint at Brady's Shankill. The walk was 10.1 km, 15 000 steps, 3.5 hours and 1 drink.
