 On Sunday 8 June, our family event "Afternoon in the Phoenix Park" went ahead with a visit of the Phoenix Park visitor centre, which included two feature films on the history of the Park and Áras an Uachtaráin. This was followed by a tour of Ashtown Castle and an insight into it's history. Finally, we enjoyed coffe/cake and picnic on the grounds in wonderful weather. The afternoon was very much enjoyed by everyone on the day. |
