2024 German Language Essay Competition is now open

 

Dear Students, Teachers and Principals

The Irish Austrian Society announce the 2024 German Language Essay competition now open.

In 1997, Dr. Otto Glaser, the President of the Irish Austrian Society at the time, had the desire to support young Irish students learn the German language. Having been educated in Ireland himself as a child, he was looking for a way to give back and foster education of his native language. He founded the German Language Essay competition, which has been running every year since.
