This lecture is the fourth in the series on Irish historical connections with Austria. This time given by Mr Richard Maher.

The lecture looks at the life of Maria Clementina Sobieska, one of Europe's wealthiest heiresses, and her journey in 1719 from Poland to Austria and subsequent escape from Innsbruch to Italy, for her marriage to James Francis Edward Stuart.
